Profile

Thea Dohler.

Since 1997, Thea Dohler has been sharing her business and marketing expertise with freelance interpreters and translators in seminars and consulting sessions (Triacom Consulting). She runs a twice-monthly marketing hotline for members of the North German translators’ association, ADÜ Nord. She was project manager and co-author of a study on the earnings of freelance interpreters and translators (2006). Thea’s organizational skills are greatly appreciated in the industry; many remember the two conferences she helped organize, ADÜ-Nord-Tage (2002, 2005, 2007), and the translation memory conference and trade show, TM-Tage 2003.
